This Is What Obese Looks Like

Funny thing–not only does my BMI change due to normal weight fluctuations from things like eating and having my period, but when I calculate BMI using my exact height (5′6.75″) instead of rounding up to 5′7″ because I’m lazy, I don’t even fluctuate between overweight and obese. I’m just obese. I think this is a good example of why the dividing line is kind of meaningless.

Anyway, I thought my outfit this morning was good for showing off what obese looks like, so I took a picture. Apologies for being a headless fatty, but I like being anonymous on the internet.

20 years old, female, 5′6.75″, 192 lbs., 30.3 BMI, 42-36-45

And I’m not even sucking in my stomach.

EDIT: Oh, and in order to be at the top end of “normal,” I’d have to lose 35 lbs. My doctor told me to lose 50.
