About

I’ve been hanging around the Fatosphere for a while and have decided that I finally need a place to get my own thoughts and feelings out.

I’m a 21-year-old college student, right on the line where “overweight” crosses over into “obese.” I follow the principles of Heath At Every Size and try to practice intuitive eating as well as one can on a limited budget. I am happy with most of my body most of the time, and right now that’s enough for me.

  1. Thick or thin, accepting one’s body as it is, is something I believe each of us must choose to do, for ourselves.
I admire what I have read here, so far. I do not understand the need to criticize certain things… Especially if the one you are criticizing ISN’T complaining!

I speak from the thin side. Make that the skinny side. Dirty looks come this way too, for not meeting some one’s ideal, and WHO Cares! I eat healthy, exercise as it fits into my other daily activities (like knitting), and let things be. I am happy with WHO I am. My shape has little to do with it. I am writing all of this, to tell you thank you for sharing. I know the ‘Fatoshepere’ is a big thing on-line, but your’s is the first respectful blog I have come across.
